Weldon Peak is located in Kern County, about 21 miles southest of
Lake Isabella, 200 miles from Los Angeles. It is located on BLM
land near Sequoia
National Forest.
Weldon Peak was added to the HPS Peak List
in 1993.

HPS has one documented route to the
peak.
Route 1 is 7 miles round
trip with a total of 1600' of gain. About half the hike is on the Pacific
Crest Trail (to the base of the peak), with the remainder cross-country
for the ascent.
