Location: Los Angeles County County, California

Named for the appearance of this peak, whose summit is a series of shelf-like flats.

Delisted from HPS Peak List when ski development made access too easy and it was judged unworthy (1968).

Name first appears on USFS San Bernardino map (1931).

Peak was on the original 1946 HPS Peak List. Weldon Heald climbed this peak in 1927.
