Quail Mountain, Ryan Mountain

By 6 am, all 5 participants met at the Joshua Tree National Monument entrance station nearest the town of Joshua Tree. It was a very breezy day, so all stops were very short. We were on top of Quail by 10 am. It was very cold and very windy. We made it back to the cars just after noon. We then climbed Ryan Mountain and were back to the cars by 3:30. Nobody but the leader wanted to do more, so we went home early.

Thanks to Gordon for his assistance and to Erich for driving. It was nice to revisit an always nice desert area. It was the first visit for participants George Thompson and Andy Britis.
