This trip went well with no unusual events along the way. We met 7 am at Coon Ck Jumpoff and waited another half hour for all 6 participants (Greg Jones, Don Borad, Eliza Dixon, Don Austin, Sharon North, Rose Stein, Cathy Paynter). This road always takes longer than expected so an early starting time is desirable.
We followed the standard route down which is now a distinct trail with clipped bushes that could just as easily been walked around. It was a warm, dry day and a cool breeze provided welcomed relief. We reached the summit around 11 and returned the same way about 45 minutes later. All were back to the cars before 3.
