These peaks are getting lots of attention this summer! Despite all the other hikes to our latest list addition, we had 24 participants, all of whom made the three peaks handily.
We had perfect weather, a congenial group and good trail; what more can one ask? It took about an hour or so to Throop, and 3 hours to Copter Ridge over Hawkins. We took a leisurely lunch and returned to the cars with a round-trip time of 6 hours 15 minutes.
Since the day was still young and the peak convenient, the leaders took several eager beavers up Mt. Lewis.
